Educational Attainment

Compared to other global cities, Toronto has a highly educated workforce. The Toronto Board of Trade's Scorecard on Prosperity 2011 indicates that Toronto has more residents with undergraduate degrees than London or Hong Kong.

In total, over 50% of the region’s population 25 years of age and above has completed post-secondary education above the college level. Over 30% of this group has received a bachelor’s degree and 11% completed a graduate degree. These statistics exceed both the Ontario and Canadian averages.
