Compared to other global cities, Toronto has a highly educated workforce. In total, over 50% of the region's population 25 years of age and above has completed post-secondary education above the college level.
Over 30% of this group has received a bachelor's degree and 11% have completed a graduate degree.
These statistics exceed both the Ontario and Canadian averages, and outperform many markets worldwide.
The Toronto Board of Trade's Scorecard on Prosperity 2014 indicates that Toronto has more residents with undergraduate degrees than London or Hong Kong (ranking 3rd overall).
