Transportation

Toronto can be easily travelled by foot, by bike, via public transit or by car on a daily basis. Those living closer to their workplace in Toronto often choose to walk or bike to work, while others commute using various public transit options including the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) or GO Transit for longer distances. For trips across the City or to other regions of the country and province, the 400 Series of highways provides a comprehensive transportation infrastructure link.

For those entering and leaving the City by air, Toronto is served by two airports. Pearson International Airport provides service to 82 countries and dozens of North American destinations, while the downtown island airport (Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport) offers personal and business travel within North America just steps from the downtown core.
